I am a Full Stack Developer based in India. Like many of you, I found myself juggling multiple EMIs from different banks. Every month, I struggled with basic financial visibility: "How many EMIs are pending?", "Where is my salary going?", "What is my true monthly budget?"
Managing finances across various bank portals was exhausting. I needed a single "Command Center" for my debt. So, I built the first version of EMI Manager to help myself.
The Personal Pivot
Initially, EMI Manager was just for my personal use. But after seeing how much it simplified my own finance tracking, I decided to share it on the Play Store. The response was immediate and overwhelming.
Driven by Users
Real users began suggesting features, which led to the creation of Retailer Mode. I realized that local shop owners needed a digital way to track customer installments, replacing the messy paper ledger system.
